On Saturday, June 13, alumni, friends, and members of the Saint Columbkille community came together for our annual Come Home to Columb celebration. This year’s gathering held special significance as we celebrated the 125th anniversary of Saint Columbkille School and honored four individuals whose lives and leadership have helped shape our community across generations.
The evening began with Mass at St. Columbkille Church, which included special intentions for alumni who passed away during the past year. Guests then returned to the school to reconnect with former classmates and teachers, tour familiar spaces, and share memories of their years at Saint Columbkille.
A highlight of the evening was the induction of the 2026 Hall of Honor class:

- Fred Cusick ’36 †
- Fr. William P. Leahy, S.J.
- Robert J. Murray ’58
Through their leadership, service, generosity, and dedication, each inductee has made a lasting impact on Saint Columbkille. The Hall of Honor program was followed by an alumni reception, allowing guests from both the elementary school and high school graduating classes to enjoy food, drinks, and conversation. The evening offered a meaningful opportunity to renew old friendships, share stories, and celebrate the many generations who have called Saint Cols home.
Come Home to Columb also served as a fitting beginning to our 125th anniversary celebration. Since opening its doors in 1901, Saint Columbkille School has remained rooted in faith, strengthened by community, and committed to providing generations of students with an excellent Catholic education.
We are grateful to everyone who joined us for this memorable evening and helped us celebrate the people, relationships, and traditions that make Saint Cols so special. As we begin this milestone year, we look forward to sharing more opportunities to honor our history and celebrate the community that continues to carry Saint Columbkille forward.
