hello it's been a pleasure getting to know all of the students these past few weeks I wanted to take a few minutes to just talk about some of the projects we have been working on so in my class it's very important to lay a foundation for building vocabulary especially if this is your second language Dorsey and cuz your second language so this month we are focusing on toddlers numbers body parts and clothing and each each Gray like I teach them they teach pre-k through fifth grade each task is differentiated to meet their developmental level and I have a few examples here that I will share some bread if we did in the month of September for our Pre-K students is an imaginative play very important so we had them we have them also beginning to use their fine motor skills by hollering their uniform knowing that the weather is changing outside we adjust our clothing to that so often times they'll let you know they'll repeat that their uniforms pantalon Gris and I'm severely for grades K-12 through first grade also developing fine motor skills with cutting and pasting we had them first we focused on body part and as you can see there are D labeled because they haven't quite mastered writing yet and then after we did some work on labeling the body parts we then have them cut and paste different different clothing on there I'm the hopefully you're seeing these come home folders for it the older grades for 2nd grade through fifth grade they will be using in every class they will be using their Spanish notebooks and serve as I explained to them the service as their their own personal dictionaries or future tasks to be done so as you can see they have labeled the body parts they were given the freedom and creativity to do draw clothing on their dog and then constructed sentences very simple sentences out of it or example they had to stay with a partner new persona tiene camisa Rosa and this is very important for future tasks such as one class at work class. Third grade through fifth grade played guess who in Spanish so they are able to construct their sentences in a meaningful way and different language and in the future I'm hoping to have a project in October where that will that will culminate I'm at their knowledge gained from all of the vocabulary so that is what we've been doing in Spanish for the month of September we will see you back here in October and I can't wait to share our Gray ideas for the next project
